 FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS!!
Thank you to all of the families that came out on Friday night, Sept. 25th, for our Family Movie Night!! Once again, families gathered to eat and mingle with friends then watch a movie (or watch their kids run around flashing their sporty glow necklaces) on the field. What a heart-warming sight to see! Looking forward to the next one already!

Fun for the entire family with games, shopping, food, entertainment and more! See your teachers and your class sponsored game booths! Help raise money for your classrooms and enjoy an afternoon of fun with your family & friends!
**VENDORS** Interested in participating in the Shopping Expo portion of the event? There is still time to reserve a table to showcase your products, gifts or services! Space is filling up quickly, so you must act fast! If interested, please contact our Shopping Expo Chairperson, Nicole Pessin at nicvegas2000@cox.net.
All proceeds from the table rental fees are donated to the school, benefiting the 800+ students at Goolsby, and are completely tax deductible. What a fabulous way to support our school!
More information on ticket pre-sales and a family pumpkin carving contest will be coming home soon!

PLT general membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the multipurpose room, unless otherwise noted. Please join us as your participation and input is vital.

It's easy and fun for the kids!
Each Box Top is worth 10 cents. Our goal is for each child to turn in 10 Box Tops or more per month. With 800+ students this year, that's a lot of potential FREE money we could earn for our school!

One of the new programs implemented last year is the
TEACHER WISH LIST program.
The PLT Teacher Wish List program enables Goolsby teachers to request donations of items from parents that would help in their classrooms. As we all know, teachers spend a lot of their own money during the year on extras not supplied by the district. It's those little touches they add to their rooms and projects that help make learning fun and enjoyable to our kids. This program is easily accessible on our website. Go to www.goolsbyplt.com and click on the TEACHER WISH LIST link. If your teacher has requested donations, they will be listed next to his/her name. If you can help by providing any of the listed items, please call or email the teacher, Room Parent, or just send the item into school with your child. Our teachers do so much for our children that we want to support them in every way possible.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS!

Now, you can easily find out information on after-school programs available to Goolsby students.
Registration has already begun for several favorites, so be sure to check it out!
DISPLAY YOUR CHILD'S BIRTHDAY ON THE SCHOOL'S MARQUEE!
Display your child's name on the school's message board for $25! Complete the online application or pick up one at the front office and return to your child's teacher in a sealed envelope marked PLT. Please return 1 week prior to your child's birthday.
